We are certified before the EMA (Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación, A.C. = Mexican Accreditation Organization) and approved by SENER (Secretary of Energy) as an official Electrical Installations Inspection Unit UVSEIE (registration number 420-A), and based on the Mexican code NOM-001-SEE-2012, Electrical installations (hereinafter referred as to NOM). (Usage).
Inspection application requirements:
1. Specific technical aspects of the project to verify.
All electrical installations must be safe and comply with the NOM. Thus, the inspection should be addressed to ensure that the installation is in accordance with the technical and safety specifications established in the NOM.
In order to simplify the verification process, it is determined without limitation:
1.1 For electrical installations with charge lower than 100 kW
The, Inspection applicant must submit the corresponding Electrical Project, to the Verification Team. In this case, the project must be composed of a one-line diagram, load ratio, list of materials and general equipment.
Lower charge electrical installations, with hazardous areas (classified), apply as indicated in point 1.2.
1.2 For electrical installations with charge equal to, or greater than, 100 kW.
The, applicant must submit to verification UV Electrical Project, which must contain the information to determine the degree of compliance with the provisions set forth in NOM, according to the following:
I.1 Rush Features.
I.2 Characteristics of the substation.
I.3 Characteristics of feeders to load centers, boards of force, lighting, among others, indicating in each case the size (calibre) of conductors (active conductors, neutral an PE), length and demanded current in amps.
I.4 type switching devices, interrupting capacity and range of adjustment of each feeder protection..
II.1 lighting circuit and luminaires
II.2 Number of circuits, number of lamps, receptacles, electric devices for each circuit, phase(s) connected to the circuit, watts or VA load current in amperes and each circuit, size (calibre) of conductors, overcurrent protection for each circuit and the unbalance between phases expressed in percent.
II.3 Force, circuits, phases to which the circuit is connected, characteristics of engines or equipment and protection and control devices, watts or VA load current in amperes and each circuit, size (calibre) of cables and loads summary indicating the unbalance between phases expressed in percent.
III.1 Minimum Scale 1:100. The minimum height of the letter or character should be 2 mm.Se allows the use of electronic files to meet this point.
III.2 Using the General System of Measurement Units, according to Standard NOM-008-SCFI force and all its legends in Spanish.
III.3 contain information concerning electrical installations, be clear and include the information for its correct interpretation so as to allow the installation building. Explanatory Notes may be indicated to the points that the designer deems necessary.
III.4 Use symbols shown in NMX-J-136-SCFI (abbreviations, numbers and symbols used in drawings and electrical diagrams). If you use a symbol that does not appear in that Standard, It is indicated in the description electric planes.
III.5 include the following minimum information:
• Name and address customer service.
• Home (Street and number, suburb, Postal Code, delegation or population, district and entity).
• Given purpose of the installations (area or activity).
• Complete name, professional license, number and signature of the project. When the project is delivered by electronic means, Responsive letter signed by an electrical engineer must be added, electromechanical or related.
• Preparation date for the project.
III.6 Floor and elevation electrical plans , should include the following:
• Specific Location of the Rush, the main switch and the main board or equipment including general switchboards.
• Location of motor control centers, boards of force, lighting and receptacles.
• Path feeders and branch circuits, both strength and lighting, identifying each circuit, and indicating its size and channeling, localization powered engines and equipment branch circuits, location of drivers and disconnecting means, location of receptacles and lighting unit with controllers, was also identified with its corresponding circuit board.
• Location, if necessary, hazardous area indicating classification according to the NOM.
VI.1 calculations current short-phase circuit for proper selection of the protections interrupter capacity in the installation.
VI.2 calculations for the phase to ground fault current (monophasic and biphasic), for the ground grid's design of the electrical substation.
VI.3 The calculations for the ground grid (including soil resistivity) Substation considering step voltages, Contact, Earth resistance, and size selection (calibre) driver, conductor length of the grid and the selection of electrodes.
Note- In cases where the neutral is continuous, ground grid calculations are not required..
1.3. The areas where there may be danger or risk of fire or explosion due to the presence and handling of flammable gases or vapors, flammable liquids, combustible dusts or ignitable fibers disperse in the air, They must be indicated in the project in accordance with the provisions of NOM.
The applicant must submit to verification UV plane hazardous areas (classified) indicating limits on plan views and transverse and longitudinal sections, so that the provisions of NOM, applicable to each classification, can be verified objectively. The classification of areas should be done by qualified people, under the responsibility of the applicant for verification, taking into account the information contained in NOM and other applicable laws.
The electrical installations Inspection report to be issued in hazardous areas (classified) They must show a date for installation responsible for supplying this to the new verification opinion which shall be limited to the concepts and scopes in Annex B of this procedure to, fact that the species must occur within five years of issue of the respective opinion.
The quarterly reports must indicate UV perform and relate electrical plants located in the normative assumptions that paragraph refers immediately preceding.
1.4. Information transformers. (Applies new type of service)
The applicant must invariably submit verification documents to prove that they are duly approved and comply with the official Mexican norms and applicable laws.
